The Gamemaker's Kit
« on: July 13, 2008, 11:37:00 AM »
I suggest we make a page called the "Game Makers Kit" in it we could out links to some of our online resources. Such as Charas, Gif. Converter, etc. That way it would be easier for people to find good resources.
This Cannot be, NOOOOOOOO!!!!

What about adding a section like that to http://manual.gamemakersgarage.com (and making a link to the manual somewhere on the GMG sidebar to make it easier to find)?

I suppose.

Isn't that kinda what the GMG is? It has both Developer's Tools and Tutorials sections. All that's required is people willing to upload their resources to them, which many people have already done.

I think he meant adding a single page that contains a list of downloads like Al's Addons & Tools page. Actually, the Tools link on the sidebar seems to be exactly the kind of page he was suggesting. It doesn't contain many of the useful links that are on Al's page though.

It'd be helpful if you compiled a list of tool names/URLs/descriptions for me to post. It's hard to get everything compiled on my own, so feel free to email me resources, and they'll be posted.
