I know... did you just make a query to a server-side script?

Yes, the AJAX script checks the input field every 300ms, and gives the input to a PHP script which feeds the results back to the Javascript.

There really isn't any other way to do it in AJAX beside having a server-side script.

I thought that you might have some fancy script that deletes items from arrays and stuff like that :P

Nope, just a simple MySQL query is all you need. =)

Works for me too.
I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

I know I promised I'd get this done as soon as possible, but this quarter has been very hectic, and taking 2 CS classes has taken away all my free time.

I am, however, excited about the features I've thought of for the 'Downloads' section as it grows. I'll be implementing these around the time that the 2nd GMG Contest begins.

Many of you suggested a pop-up with more game information, such as a description, screenshot, etc. I'll be implementing this for sure.

Another feature will be an AJAX search field, where you just enter any part of the game's name, and it'll automatically filter the list down to games with your search terms. Since the downloads section will be rapidly growing, this will be an efficient way for finding the games you're looking for.

I'll also begin paginating the downloads sections, with about 25 games per page.

Sweet! Any progress ghost? I'm really liking this idea.
