I think I broke my minecraft while installing a mod, what do you reccomend? It just says "Updating minecraft" "Done loading" and shows a bar that never changes

My suggestion:
(1) Uninstall it.
(2) Turn off your computer.
(3) Go outside.
(4) Meet the girl of your dreams.

My suggestion is to ask your question on the Minecraft Forums, they might be somewhat more helpful than us.

My guess is you just need to replace your minecraft.jar file with one that isn't screwed up by mods.

nothing is ever "screwed up" i developed some simple UNIX commands to uninstall mods. Its designed specifically for each mod of course.

so you don't have to waste time remaking your jar file

Too late. Playing 1.8 TMI mod makes it crash if you use creative mode, so I'm happy playing vanilla MineCraft

1.8 didn't work for me, it just ran really slow... :(

Creativ mode. What alien languages you be speaking boy.

KK back to business me: is that some sort of mod. And please don't strike me down with holy retribution, but why can't the mods work together. And I don't mean the logistics I understand the file overwriting problem. But I mean why can't the developers work together and around that. I know it's a large community but come on! If ur mod doesn't work with tmi what's the pout of making it without small assimilation? If no one gives me a legitimate answer ima kick down creative mod dudes door and... Well I hadn't hough that far ahead... Still sleep deprived... Don't judge me

Creative mode is a new 1.8 feature
You can fly and there's no health, hunger or EXP. Just building. And autobreak.
