tales told of a curious soul who couldn't let it rest. It ate at his sole for days, and finally tried it. To his surprise and horror it actually worked! The command to beat all commands. The most omni-dreaded and prolific commands that anyone can do, even a guest on your computer.

I'm talking about the fabled OS DELETION COMMAND

Code: [Select]
 rm /*

a command whose integral evilness was discovered when some poor fool tried to delete the whole contents of his folder with the above instead of 'rm *' and deleted his root folder, and therefore everything on his computer!

It's folklore now, but tell you the story is true! Some will say that you have to use 'rm -rf /' to do it, but they both work.

it works on some machines  ;D
Thats actually where the controversy lies, some people don't think some of them work, but all of it is speculation since No one will test it, and the only people its happened to are UNIX noobs who added the dreaded extra space, and supposedly broke their computer.
