I never seem to see these kinds of articles written from a purely secular view. A god always gets factored in somehow, and while I understand the subjective relevance to a theist, especially Christian, I don't see the objective relevance to the purported science. I'd be glad to see some examples to the contrary, though.

Yeah crazy how that happens. Most activities and articles on safety(such as this article), charities(like open door and food drives) and even humane organizations(like anti-trafficking groups) are backed by religious groups(mainly Christian).
I'd be surprised to see an article like this made by a group with no religious backing. My guess is because of a lack of care often led by belief. No incentive to care. Everyone's gonna die, let em have fun doin it.
Ya know what I mean?

I'll accept your concession, then, that you have no examples to refute my claim. Still, burden of proof is on me in this case, of course, so in an effort to keep this brief, I'll drop the claim and move on.

It's troubling to know that you would have no incentive to care about humanitarian issues (particularly anti-trafficking) if you weren't simply doing what you think a non-detectable entity is telling you to do. That would suggest some degree of psychosis, so I'm sure I'm not understanding what you mean, and would be glad to hear you elaborate further.
