If you want fame, fortune, success, and the ladies ;) it's your time to jump onto Obj-C and get game makin.

None of the ladies seem to be impressed by my romantic ballads of game development :-*

Where are the current rules for submitting stuff to the store? I can't find them on Apple's site.

Nope. You gotta pay $99 to put apps on the Mac App Store.

Here's the info:

Really? That's awesome! You should get a dev license, try and put Sc on. If they reject it, that's 99 bucks down the drain...

Several FutureBASIC applications have been accepted and are on the store as well.

This could be GM and SCs time to shine guys, submit them!

Although:

Apps must be packaged and submitted using Apple's packaging technologies included in Xcode
- no third party installers allowe

GM 3 is ineligible because it's a PPC only app.

I need to read all the rules again. I still have a feeling that SilverCreator isn't allowed.

However, I did have a good idea the other day - add something into SilverCreator that automates the "packaging with Xcode technologies", to make it easier to add SilverCreator games to the store. All you would need to do is install Xcode (but you wouldn't ever need to actually use it).

That sounds like a sweet idea. For what its worth, I didn't see anything that disqualified SC from being submitted. At least, nothing that can't be easily modified.

I didn't see anything that required 10.6, all I saw is that apps submitted are required to run on 10.6 (The currently shipping OS).

I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

No. They have to be compiled in Xcode.
