As a Scorsese fan, I was not impressed - loving him as a director.
As a fan of the psychological thriller genre, I liked it.
As a fan of believable acting, DiCaprio had that front covered.
But as a hater of cliche endings, I can't say much about Shutter Island.

thats how i felt about the departed, the whole movie was cliche, but everyone liked it, i dont get whats so good about that movie,

I liked Shutter Island... putting the plot aside, it was at least really well done.
