My firts 3d FATGUY in blender
« on: August 11, 2008, 06:49:53 PM »
I am trying to make a fat person in blender and this is what I have come up with so far.

He has no textureing and I haven't figured out how to light him yet so this is the view in the editor.

he has no arms, legs or heads and only has a beer belly

Haha  ;D

I'm thinking of maybe trying blender some time, though if you wanted a easier 3D maker, you should try Wings3D.

I have wings3D and have used it before.

It was my preferred 3d editor (And I still understand it better)

However, Blender is much more powerful and I am interested in skletopn and animation features because I am planning a 3d game in UNNITY once I get it :P

EDIT: And blender has really nifty shortcuts

It looks like a fatperson's torso, (I meant it to look a bit like a deflated ball)

I'm trying out blender and I can't even figure out how to rotate the x,y,z axis. Also, all I can do is make shapes like squares and circles.

Could you give me a few tips?

I learned by looking at the beginner tutorials on the blender website.

Mist (PS I could try to make a screencast as soon as I figure out what I am doing.)

I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.
