Oh god, the nostalgia!
Yeah, I didn't have cable either. My early childhood television was mostly shows on public television, like Arthur. Pokemon didn't come to network television for me until the early 2000's. I remember liking digimon quite a bit as well. I also remember the Kirby show, which I watched back when Kirby was like, the coolest thing ever. I remember when I got my Gameboy advance (man, that thing was awesome. I remember being really impressed by the graphics, because prior to that, I'd had only a Gameboy Pocket, which was monochrome), I bought Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and played to completion. All the secrets and powerups to find. That game is one of my favorites.
