That's one thing I don't like.
Apple has a new idea, and then like a week later there's a million crappy remakes that sell for 300$ less.
Apple makes good ideas, and makes them work well. Other companys:
"Just throw the piece of junk together in 10 minutes and we'll make a fortune!"

I went to a Best Buy recently to check out the tech. They had iPads that ran blazingly fast. Played Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, awesome games.
Then they had other tablets.
Android tablets.
Needless to say, they all sucked.

They give whole new meanings to choppy. One thing that baffled me is that one of the tablets had 3 Angry Birds apps. 2 on one page and the third on the next page. All 3 were the same game.

Why would you need 3 angry birds copys. I could understand with an RPG that only had one account or something, but angry birds is a puzzel/pysics game.

P.S. Is it correct to say a RPG or an RPG? I've always said an RPG.

Teachers in school often simplify this and tell you to use "an" whenever the next word starts with a vowel, but it is wrong. This quote sums it up best:

Quote
The choice of article is actually based upon the phonetic (sound) quality of the first letter in a word, not on the orthographic (written) representation of the letter. If the first letter makes a vowel-type sound, you use "an"; if the first letter would make a consonant-type sound, you use "a." So, if you consider the rule from a phonetic perspective, there aren't any exceptions. Since the 'h' hasn't any phonetic representation, no audible sound, in the first exception, the sound that follows the article is a vowel; consequently, 'an' is used. In the second exception, the word-initial 'y' sound (unicorn) is actually a glide [j] phonetically, which has consonantal properties; consequently, it is treated as a consonant, requiring 'a'.

Say this out loud: "A RPG". When you say it out loud you are really saying "A arr pee gee". It sound kind of weird saying it that way, assuming English is your first language - you'll just know in your mind that it sounds wrong, and it feels more natural to say "An Arr Pee Gee". Therefore it should be written "An RPG".

Gan has gained a level in Intelligence!
Gan is now level 2.

Though seriously I was wondering the same thing. This definitely clears it up.

That surprises me. Why did they suck (apart from the fact they weren't engineered by Apple)?

Mostly the intense choppy-ness. Flipping pages lagged lots. Also the multiple Angry Bird apps made it seem a bit kirf-y.

Yeah, and they're all too small! I either can't see anything (JK, I have perfect vision) or have to zoom in to a point where it gets really annoying. If you want a small ipad, get an ipod touch.
