How do you get the rotation of one object orbiting another?
Let's say a moon is orbiting the earth on a 2d plane, what's the equation to get the moon's rotation around the earth?

I took trig just last year but I can't figure out what you're asking. What do you mean by rotation?

Here's a little picture to show what I mean:
Trying to find the degrees of rotation of the small ball at random points around the large ball.

I still don't understand the question.
If you are trying to find the degrees wouldn't you just use a protractor.
