Yeah I've noticed too. It's hard to explain, but it doesn't feel umotivated, just unnecessary.
Also, just to make it so I don't have to post twice, Mistron, hows the flash thingy coming? I haven't really been doing much with Gm or Sc. I'm hitting major breakthroughs with Vb6 though. So far I have created the server/client on vb6. Chatting and logging on is fully functional. I am now creating the "Registration" page and security system. After that I will finish the Who's Online. Than I will make sure all chat is finished.
Once chat is finished, I will add a view screen for sprites and stuff, than I will have a sprite for each person online, make a room, convert v6 engine to vb6 or v6 scrolling. Than allow people to walk around. It will be a very simple MMORPG.
