Gan's iRPG Todo List
« on: June 04, 2010, 11:55:08 AM »
Anything you need me to program, post it.
Here's what I got so far:
*Set warp tiles in world editor, get them working in the iRPG.
*Dialog editor in world editor, get them working in the iRPG.
*Finish item editor in world editor, get items working in the iRPG.
*Works stats into attacks.
*Make a test shop to play with.

Is this similar to the programmers log?

Not quite. This is where you guys tell me what needs programmed. For example Gnome needs warping tiles.

Oh like how we need the water tiles to go the other way? I figured that would be more on Warhamsters todo list because he was in charge of art. right?

One thing to look into might be re-using the same map for the town and programming it to change pieces throughout the game, to save space and so you don't have to make extra maps.

I've been thinking of that...
I can probably program it in to individually change a few tiles as the game progresses.
Anyway you guys could make your own todo lists where people can add what they need done.

I'll talk to you about this later, but I think that a light and shadow system would really add to the game. I'm working on one in SC and it's not that difficult, I can help you implement it.

That may be an idea, though at the risk of sounding cocky I have the world map planned out very smartly :)

Have you written a reminder to get messages working so you can talk to people in the game? It would make the shop a bit easier to make as well.
EDIT:
What does thingy-y mean???
