New SSB.
« on: January 29, 2013, 09:23:32 PM »
OMG!!! Nintendo has Cave Story on almost every system recently, right? That means they must have some kind of deal with Pixel.... If the next SSB game has Quote and Curly in it, I'll buy it on launch day. I'll preorder it. Balrog could be Quote's smash attack!!!!

Also, imagine the stage! Egg corridor could be a scrolling level and you could have Mimiga town as a stationary one or something. I should send this to Nintendo. Plus, there'd be music to rival the Zelda medley for the stage creator! This needs to happen. Heck, if it was a DLC for the Wii U SSB even. I'd buy the 3DS version too. Seriously, if this doesn't happen...

Ok, that probably won't happen, but Namco is letting Nintendo use their characters, so there'll be a PAC man stage at least.

There is no doubt in my mind he would make a great SSB character!

What would his Final Smash be? Maybe that's when he can call in Balrog.

*Quote hits the Final Smash Ball*
HUZZAH!
*Balrog drops in and squishes people in the way, his theme starts playing*

Yeah. Smash attack final smash. Same thing. The jetpack would be their up+B, their main B would be polar star(Quote) /machine gun (Curly). The A attack would be the knife maybe? Curly's final smash would be mimigas falling from the top of the screen and running around wildly hitting people.

Maybe the Doctor could be a character. Red crystal final smash?

Anyway, that PacMan level will be fun. Other Namco games? Pac man? Xevious? Tekken? I think they made Katamari Damacy too... Love that game.

He could also just use the jetpack to double jump and have a proper upwards attack.

Or a dash attack like fox maybe...

The machine gun would lose its jetpack ability, but it would still be pretty awesome. Maybe they could use the leveling system somehow...

Either A. Level crystals are an item that make everyone better or
B. When you get hit by a Cave Story character, you get percent and drop some level crystals.

And the campaign mode that nobody plays could have an awesome level taken from cave story.

But you know what? Even with cave story stuff, the multiplayer couldn't be as good as brawl's. Because if I can't use a GC controller for SSB, (or N64) I suck. Try playing with the Wii Remote sometime. Most annoying thing ever.

There's always the pro controllers, but they still just won't feel the same. And the pro controllers will cost $50.00, so in order to play four player SSB.... that's $210. Unless you don't want to use the gamepad. Then it's $260...
