Hey guys I just found out...
AutoCad is comin to Mac and best of all...
It's free for students!
Seriously for those who don't know all of AutoCad's stuff is amazing, professional, and worth a mini fortune. For those with macs and pcs, I suggest downloading and trying out all that looks interesting.
I'm going to try and install windows on Boot Disk so I can check out AutoDesk 3ds Max.

This is gonna be awesome! I learned AutoCad in school years ago, it's easier than any other 3D program I tried.
In fact here are some old creations I made in AutoCad:
Things can be made incredibly fast. Learning curve is small. I used AutoDesk Inventor to make all of the above creations but I'm gonna try AutoDesk 3ds Max 2011 to model and animate. It'd be pretty cool to make an actual mini movie or models I could use in a game...

P.S. Looks like AutoDesk Maya works for Mac and is free via student license and does everything needed so I think I'm gonna try that.
