The application is an attachment on my first post. You can only walk around in a north, northEast, northWest way. Things like inquire and examine don't do anything yet.

Im updating and adding onto the 3d-like game. I have the player walk forward. Also the player is able to turn to the left and right giving access to north, south east and west. The movement and view looks a little scrambled until you get a feel for it. The world is also bigger and there are a few different environments. Don't reach the edge of the world or the program closes. I will upload a application file soon.

Here is a screen. Imagine when you walk forward the trees get closer but at a choppy like 5 feet.
The name of the game is an alter of the garden of eden. Instead of eden its uden.

Man I love Silver Creator.

It uses an array as a grid for the placement of the trees and player. If there are trees in the grid a few spaces ahead of the player then tree images are displayed at appropriate depths. Its a 3d environment as far as walking around but the graphics are images. And you cant look around other than changing your entire view north, south, east, and west. In fixed positions like on a grid.
