I'm composing a few melodies for my new RPG and I'm in search of inspiration, so I was just wondering if the composers among us could post a few samples of their work. I think Hampster's a composer, but I've never heard any of his stuff (as far as I recall).
I'll post a few of my own stuff tonight.

Hmm, I don't compose MIDI's anymore, I prefer real music XD
but heres my Newgrounds page.

And here is my idol of everything to do with classical music composition. His stuff is incredible.

Those are really good. :) Did you release any games with music?
Here's one I'm working on for my new game: http://www.mediafire.com/?zjmhmdwzzoy
I'm trying for gentler melodies than my usual stuff. More atmospheric and whatnot.

Ooh, new game? Music sounds good. :)
What do you guys use to make the music?

I use GarageBand, but unfortunately I lost all the Apple Loops when my HD crashed so I'm composing note by note for each instrument. GB is really easy to use though, you should give it a try Gan. :)

It was so funny, I download SW's music and I started playing and when it was in three of four seconds an advertisement turned on in the back window a safari. I was beginning to think that SW had composed a commercial. But AFTER I turned off the add I listed to it and it sounds pretty good.

Lol! ;D

Do you have any of the loop packs or something? Sound like you have the orchestra pack?

A. I don't use loops except occasionally for drums
B. They're called jam packs and they include loops and software instruments
C. Yes i have all of the jam packs.
-
I know they're jam packs, and you don't use loops. I was guessing because I couldn't remember. Anyways I'm hoping I can get symphony orchestra some day. I only have the remix jam pack.

Sorry for the late reply.
Generally, my music would have no place in a traditional RPG... but here's something I've been working on that has a "old school game" vibe: http://www.mediafire.com/?nmwd3othj35
Sorry for the huge file. The distortion in the song may be a bit heavy for some, but I think it's cool ;)

Man this week has been busy, but I finally got around to finishing the track as well as another one I'd been working on:

I'm downlading yours now Hampster.
EDIT:
Cool stuff Hampster! :)

This is some pretty neat stuff SW. I think it would work well in a game.

Thanks TD. :) The second track is for a mini game.

Thanks SW. Your stuff is awesome, you are good at every aspect of game development.
