I'll take a look at SilverCreator.  I'll probably just base the AI off of that.  Even though I'm new, I'm already loyal to GamerMaker. :)

I can help you with the AI, but it depends on what you want the computer to do. Is it a grid based game?

Yes, it'll be grid-based.  If you've ever heard of Star Wars Miniatures, that's what the game is.  Basically, I just what the AI to not move into certain squares, know the rules of what to do, and not make stupid moves; maybe having 3 difficulties, easy, medium and hard.  Also, I need it to have a strategy in making a squad, or maybe just randomly.

2 other questions:  Is there a way to get compiled games to work on windows?
Is there a way I can convert a picture to a grid for use in-game?

Only SilverCreator can compile Windows games, sorry.

I'm loyal to GameMaker too, even though I wrote SilverCreator  ;)
