I know this project was started quite a while back, but perhaps now that we have more users, we can get the ball rolling again on the GMG Wiki:

Let's see if we can't organize it and expand it a bit. I'm a bit back-logged right now, so the earliest I can really do a thorough job on it will be Summer 2009. (I have wwaayy too many things on my plate right now).

Sweet. I'm going to get started on the Sc part later today.

Dude this is so insane! I'm glad you guys are making this so us noobs can learn stuff like tile nav and online coding easily. The syntax that is built in doesn't really help. Can't wait for stuffs to be added!
-
I'll help with the SC wiki :)
Gandolf, lets split up the work for the SC section... what parts do you want to work on?
-
I'll do the ON <event> stuff!!!
But the way, there is spam is the GM variable management.
-
if we see spam should we remove it ???
-
Oh and can this be part of "Main" like with news and future releases, its sorta tucked away and hard to find now.

@Gnome Yes, I'll list it on the front page and in Future Releases and in Articles & Tutorials.
Also, feel free to delete any spam you see (though I don't think that's a problem just yet, maybe I'll make registration mandatory later for editing).

I can do online coding, tile nav, nthfield, and such.
By the way, do you guys like having lots of pictures and demonstrations? Or would you prefer just explaining the code by bits?

I formatted the GameMaker page to reflect general wiki guidelines. Basically, we want just a list of commands for the command documentation, and all relevant information about each command on the page for that command.
I'll slowly be working on the wiki whenever I have spare time. At the moment, it looks like the SilverCreator side really needs some organization, so I put a note of that there.

I like the old way better, each command had its own outline and such. Made it much easier to get a quick answer.

you guys are still working on this? cool!
I thought it had been abandoned :P

I just added some stuff.

I don't think I have a link to this on the GM web site. I'll have to link to it and even update it some. Cool.
-
Who owns the GMG wiki? Is there a way to not allow editing by anyone? Or is there a way to not have the discussion pages at all? There keeps getting way too much spam on those pages.
-
I've never actually seen the GM wiki. What is it exactly and where's a link?

This was the GM wiki a bunch of people were working on I don't actually use it cause I already know GM code
-
I should do more work on the GM side. I'm afraid I don't know enough about SC to be of much help over there. ;)
*Edit* Whoa, the SC command documentation needs some work. :P

Al wrote an excellent command documentation for GM. Is the aim of the wiki to expand upon it?
-
BTW About the GMG Wiki, it would be nice if we could
- Post screenshots of the documented games
- Add Circuit11's classic games

Who has admin access to the wiki? I'm unable to reset the password, and I vaguely remember handing over access to someone.
