Hehehe... ah, fond memories. ;D Yup, I still have a dusty copy of the map: http://yfrog.com/bcmfmapp

Most of the enemies were originally drawn for a card game I was working on several years before I made MF.

Haha, I have a bunch of old GM projects that never finished.  I tried to bring them over to my macbook from my old, OS 9 fruit-colored iMac but couldn't get it to work.

None of them were that spectacular, just simple scripting and click areas, so they wouldn't really be of any interest unless you're interested in what my 12-year-old mind was devising.   ;D

Yup. I've often pondered a remake, as the story really appeals to me. I think if I ever get around to finishing it I'll experiment with new ways of encountering enemies, as I don't fancy having to draw a sprite for each enemy (based on the original pics) but at the same time I can't bring myself to settle with random encounters.

Above all I love the music in this game. :)

EDIT:

I lost the source for those tracks.

lol! I just slogged my way through the demo and I'd forgotten about the funny ending. For those who haven't seen it:

yea i liked that part. also after you do that the guy that buys silver and gold locks his door, what a ducsh bag, i had like 6 rocks too

i always thoght moonfable was a free roaming rpg, but it seems like you intended it to be quest based, because the demo ends after that one quest

I'll post my scroller as soon as I can get the ship to shoot things, I'm not sure I want to make levels any time soon, tho.

Yeah, originally I had intended it to be completely quest progressive, but then I decided I'd have two dungeons per level: one for the story quest and an optional one you'd have to explore the overworld to find. What do you think though, should it just be completely free roaming? I'm actually trying to finish it this month.

Okdoke. I like the idea of reporting to Orth Greenstone whenever you need direction. :)

lol! ;D Not quite 10 months actually. I've got a redesigned site almost ready to go, I just need time to upload it and money to host it. My income's going on bills and bread at the moment.

It would really be something if you finished a free roaming RPG.
